DVRC Administration

1. Communications Intern (Part-time, volunteer)

The Communications Intern will offer support to the Development Director in content coordination for newsletters, print and Web media and other communication pieces. S/He will assist with several fund development activities such fundraising and outreach events. This position has varying responsibilities ranging from the communications department, marketing and volunteer coordination.

DVRC Community Advocacy Program


1. Co-Located West County Community Advocate (Full-time, Paid)

The Domestic Violence Resource Center is seeking a full-time Advocate for the Community Advocacy West County Program. The Community Advocacy Program provides a wide range of services including assistance in obtaining a protective order, courtroom advocacy, safety planning, outreach, information and referral and short- term case management. The Co-Located west County Advocate will be stationed at Centro Cultural de Washington County, and will additionally work closely local law enforcement as well as with other community partners within Washington County.

2. Co-Located East County Community Advocate (Full-time, Paid)

DVRC Monika's House (confidential shelter) 

1. Shelter Day Residential Advocate (Full-time)

Maintains the general safety and well-being of shelter and housing residents. Communicates, and enforce/uphold all shelter policies and guidelines. Facilitates the day to day structure of the program, and respond to calls on the crisis and business lines. Conducts phone screenings and assist with placements. Manage Food Bank account, volunteer and donation needs of shelter, and meet all necessary requirements for the program. Respond to any crisis situation with clients or the shelter.

1.Shelter Residential Support Staff On-Call

 

Residential support staff are on-call employees that provide shelter coverage on an as needed basis. They are responsible to enforce and uphold the policies and guidelines of the program. They will be responsible for the day to day operations and to maintain safety and security of the shelter.
