Host an event

“Helping out [Domestic Violence Resource Center] is one of the best things we can do. We know our efforts help people who have nowhere else go.”

Carol Barr, Soroptimist International of Hillsboro, 2006 President

Is your group, club, or company holding a fundraiser and looking for a worthy organization to benefit with your proceeds? We will be honored to be a beneficiary of your event. Depending on the character of your event and your needs, we can:

  • give a presentation about our organization and how we benefit the community, which will give your guests an opportunity to find out more about the impact of their contributions
  • host a table and hand out information about our agency and our work building safer and healthier communities
  • serve as a fiscal agent (for larger community events - proceeds exceeding $5,000)
