Advocate

image

Advocacy in the domestic violence field, as in any other field, involves being informed about related issues and sharing that information with people or organizations that make important decisions affecting the field.

The first step is to become informed. Browse our website or contact us for more information.

Advocacy for the cause and for Domestic Violence Resource Center involves strategic sharing of information. One of the most important thing you can do is to write / email / call your legislator, on the city, state, and federal levels. Call Sarah Keefe, Community Outreach/Education/Development Coordinator, at 503.640.5352 x308, for guidelines and advice on how to do this most effectively.
