Volunteer

“The experience I had volunteering at Monika’s House Shelter was life changing and I can’t wait to do it next year and the years after. Seeing the faces of the women, children and workers brighten up and smile from ear to ear was the greatest feeling I’ve ever had. Some of the kids were so open to me. They kept talking to me and asking me questions, like how old I was and were I went to school and what my favorite color was. When I got to tour the house and learn what Monika’s House Shelter is all about, I knew that the workers there give their hearts out to these women. It is such a wonderful thing they do but they do need help. I highly recommend volunteering at Monika’s House because you won’t regret it. It’s so much fun!”
